TALK (Virtual or In Person) - Rags to Riches- finding inspiration from the past
Finding Inspiration in everyday life, the past and a bundle of old letters
This is a 45- 60 mins talk in which I talk about my creative journey from City and Guilds embroidery to a MA in Fine Art.
Everyday life and the past has provided me with inspiration to create a body of work which explores human perspectives, narratives and memories, My discovery of a bundle of old letters, and the stories contained within them, provided me with the inspiration of create my solo exhibitions, Past Lives and the Lightfoot Letters, which have been exhibited widely.
This can either be a Virtual Talk with a slide show or I can travel to your meeting where I bring along examples of my work to illustrate the talk.
Please note I am based in Surrey on the outskirts of London.
